Rory Sparks from Em Space Book Arts Studio leads a drop-in community craft night.
Have you ever made a flexagon structure? Rory describes them as “sort-of magical folded books that hide and reveal imagery.” She’ll demonstrate their construction and give you the opportunity to make your own, complete with embellishment and whatever content your imagination can devise. Drop in for 30 minutes or two hours and make connections with community members while learning a new craft activity.
Craftacular! is a recurring community craft night that is part of the partnership between Etsy, PNCA and the Museum of Contemporary Craft. Each evening gives community members a chance to work on a project led by a local craft expert, developing new skills or honing existing experience in a particular medium.
