No Such Thing
Jan 30, 2012 – Feb 22, 2012
THIS EVENT IS OVER

“I’ve always been interested in the ideas that quantum physics wrestles with,” says Anthony Roberto ’10 about his new show No Such Thing. “I am a confessed dilettante in these things. I find myself poaching ideas I find from science documentaries and such, and making work about what I feel are the implications for these ideas that seem to have only a distant, abstract impact on our daily existence, yet permeate the universe and the world.”
Roberto presents a solo show of new work in the Corner Gallery. The show consists of 10 pieces: three engravings, 5 aquatint diptychs, and 2 aquatints. The seeds of this work were created during the Bruce Guiwits Residency in which Roberto spent three weeks from February 3 to February 24 in the town of Guanajuato, Mexico.
