A message from organizer Joy Mallari:

Dear Friends and Printmakers,

I’m so blessed to be part of an amazingly generous and caring community. I’m reaching out to you to help provide relief efforts for those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. The recent and devastating damage has left missing family members, entire towns demolished, and survivors without access to water, food or shelter.

Gamblin Artists Colors will be hosting an online art auction and a silent auction with our friends at Pacific Northwest College of Art to raise funds for support. If you have any prints you would like to donate for this cause please contact me at joy@gamblincolors.com. Much appreciation to Ryan O’Malley for donating the first print. I’m happy and thankful for any donations from my gifted artist friends. Please pass along to artists who may be interested. Proceeds will go entirely to Mercy Corps who are currently deploying seasoned emergency responders to the Philippines.

Being of Filipino descent, I have a personal connection to this tragedy and I am thankful to Gamblin for supporting efforts to help those affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Thank you for reading and most of all, thank you for your love.

If you would like to help in another way, you can also send funds directly to Mercy Corps by calling 1-888-842-0842 or sending a check to their headquarters at PO Box 2669, Dept W, Portland, OR 97208 with a note: for Philippines. Thank you again.

Much love to you,
Joy
