Graduate Open Studio Schedule:

Applied Craft + Design: Come join us for a tour a of the MFA AC+D studios also known as “The Bison.” Walk through our 13,500 sq. ft. facilities featuring: wood shop, metal shop, ceramics and fiber studios, large flex spaces and our computer lab in an airstream trailer. Meet the students, see the studios and learn first hand how we create a cross disciplinary space.

Collaborative Design: Check out the First Year Exhibition, Communion, in the Design Corridor situated right outside the program studios. Enjoy a beverage and brainstorm with current students about working projects and design strategies.

PRINT MEDIA: The PRINT MEDIA program invites you to join them in the PM flex space to check out current student work, talk with faculty, and to chat about pushing the boundaries of what print can be. For the real printmaking lovers, stop by to catch some in progress printing action.

Visual Studies: Get a peek into 32 individual studios of the diverse group of Visual Studies candidates. Grab a drink and enjoy an opportunity to talk to current students, faculty and the Portland art community. The interdisciplinary nature of this program makes this annual event ever-changing and always exciting. It’s not one to miss!

Low-Residency Visual Studies: With all of the Low-Residency Visual Studies students in their respective homes around the globe, open studios gets a little complicated. Be sure to check out the exhibition on campus featuring current student work to see what the LRVS cohort has been up to!
