THIS EVENT IS OVER
Anita Spaeth recently turned to poetry and free-verse as means to ruminate on personal experiences with love, desire, and vulnerability. Through small publications and installations she finds space within the romantic notions of poetry to cultivate mindful reflections on the emotive outcome of these experiences. Anita is interested in studying intersectional feminism, emotion theory, and how those of precarity find communion within and beyond their communities. Anita lives in Portland, Oregon and is completing her BFA in Intermedia from Pacific Northwest College of Art.
Kailyn Hooley is an interdisciplinary artist from Corbett, OR. Her present body of work explores her own state of being and becoming by reflecting on personal, familial, and geographical relationships. Through the utilization of mixed digital and analog processes, as well as text, she creates imagery that become tangible objects to preserve and investigate memory. Currently she is working in Portland, OR while completing her BFA in Photography from Pacific Northwest College of Art.
