Anita Spaeth recently turned to poetry and free-verse as means to ruminate on personal experiences with love, desire, and vulnerability. Through small publications and installations she finds space within the romantic notions of poetry to cultivate mindful reflections on the emotive outcome of these experiences. Anita is interested in studying intersectional feminism, emotion theory, and how those of precarity find communion within and beyond their communities. Anita lives in Portland, Oregon and is completing her BFA in Intermedia from Pacific Northwest College of Art.
