ABOUT Groundcover: The Pacific Northwest College of Art presents a collaborative exhibition of works by nine 1st year candidates currently in the MFA Visual Studies program. The exhibition will be held at the Lodge Gallery from November 15th - 24th, 2017. The Lodge Gallery is open weekdays from 9am-5pm and is located inside Allied Works Architecture, Inc. at 1532 SW Morrison St.
Groundcover is a discursive look at how we as humans define/represent/control/use/respect/understand/interact with that which is “natural.” The work in this show grows from each artist’s individual relationship to nature and to human nature; through material, form, concept, content.
The Curatorial Fellow and MFA in Visual Studies candidate, James Knowlton, is the present facilitator of exhibitions at the Lodge Gallery inside Allied Works Architecture and PNCA’s MFA Galleries/Student Project Spaces at 511 NW Broadway.
