As part of PNCA’s MFA in Collaborative Design and MA in Design Systems Design Futures Lecture Series, we proudly present an evening lecture with Dana Ghazi; a scholar and practitioner with a diverse background and passion for international politics and global human rights issues, specifically women’s rights and leadership. Dana currently works as an bilingual counsellor and mental health practitioner at Oregon Health and Science University working with the refugee community and victims of trauma and torture. Dana applies a broad and complex framework in analyzing the relation between international politics and its consequent impact on local communities and grassroots organizing with a keen interest in the details and stories that assert the uniqueness of people’s cultures and perspectives.
